Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite is set to kick off soon, but ahead of it, the company has announced that Thunder Rosa will be making her All Elite Wrestling debut tonight.
Rosa – the current NWA Women’s World Champion – will be making her debut against Serena Deeb, a former WWE superstar who is also making her AEW Dynamite debut. Fans may remember Serena as part of CM Punk’s Straight Edge Society, but tonight she’ll be looking to make her mark in All Elite Wrestling with a big win over Thunder Rosa.
During her match tonight, Rosa came away with a big win, taking down Deeb in a dominant debut for AEW Dynamite. For more on how the match ended, check out below:
Back from break, Thunder Rosa is in full control. Serena frees herself from a cross neckhold with a backstabber. two clotheslines as she wrenches the arm before doing a modified octupus stretch. Hard knees into the corner by Rosa. She hits another low dropkick and goes for the cover. Serena soon goes for a piledriver but Rosa hits a DVD for a near fall. The two trade pin attempts. Hard shots and chops by Rosa. Suplex by Rosa followed up by a dropkick. Rosa signals for the end. She hits the Thunder Driver for the win.
