Update On Insticator Commenting Feature; Disqus Log-Ins Being Phased Out

WrestleZone readers,

We appreciate your support over the years and your patience as we move towards using Insticator for our comments section. As you have seen, we began moving away from support for Disqus to implement this new commenting platform. We understand that change is not always well-received but it was a decision made in an effort to create a better wrestling community here on our website.

WrestleZone encourages you to continue sharing your feedback on the user experience so far, as we’ve been sharing the information with Insticator in regards to how we can develop this into a healthy and thriving community. As the community grows, we will be giving away free apparel from our WrestleZone store to say thank you for your participation and contributions to the site.

Since Insticator was introduced, you have been able to log-in using your Disqus user name. However, that option will be removed later this week and wanted to give enough time to readers to create a new login. You can sign up for an Insticator account via Google, Facebook, Twitter or email. Comments posted by Disqus users will still be visible (and we are also working on importing all of your commenting history into Insticator) but you will no longer be able to login via Disqus after this week.

Any user who has logged in with Disqus since we introduced Insticator commenting will be notified by email once Disqus is removed so that they can create an Insticator account with the same credentials they had used on Disqus and that will automatically map all historical comments to their new user profile. If a user should miss the email notification, a link to the instructions will be displayed within the Login window explaining how to login into their user account using an Insticator Commenting account. Former Disqus users who have yet to log in before the removal will be able to map historical comments to their new user credentials in their profile settings once they create an Insticator account.

Please sign up for a new Insticator account as early as possible to make the transition as seamless as possible, and we thank you for your continued support!
