WWE Clash of Champions has been confirmed for Sunday, September 27. WWE confirmed the date during a commercial that aired during WWE Payback. Clash of Champions was originally set for Sunday, September 20, but the event was pushed back a week. It will be the third major event held in the ThunderDome; WWE SummerSlam and Payback were also held there.
At Clash of Champions, every WWE Championship is typically defended. Three new champions were crowned at Payback. Roman Reigns won the WWE Universal Championship, Bobby Lashley won the WWE United States Championship, and Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
