All Elite Wrestling had to remove parts of Eddie Kingston’s promo from the 8/22 episode of Dynamite due to the referencing of a WWE Superstar.
According to a report by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, a mention of WWE Raw Superstar Rey Mysterio was edited off of the taped promo by Eddie Kingston when he was rallying Butcher, Blade, and the Lucha Brothers together. No specific reason was made clear as to why the edit was made.

Recent reports by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer suggest that AEW matched the contract offer made to Rey Mysterio by WWE but the Lucha legend is expected to stay with the sports entertainment titan.
Eddie Kingston’s new alliance is going to be featured in an 8-man tag team bout on tonight’s episode of Dynamite. They will face Joey Janela, Sonny Kiss, Brian Pillman Jr., and Griff Garrison.
