Keith Lee is limitless in his confidence and spoke just as much of that on RAW Talk following his Monday night debut against Randy Orton.
Lee’s debut was bittersweet as he did have a fine showing against The Viper, but it ultimately didn’t go as planned as an irate Drew McIntyre came to exact revenge on Randy after two punts to the head. RAW Talk host Charley Caruso asked if Lee should be walking before he’s running on the red brand.
“It’s ridiculous, do you see my size?” Lee asked. “Here’s the reality: tonight you saw a snippet of what I’m capable of and it was spoiled by my own friend, but I also understand his side of things. He’s gone through a lot with Mr. Orton, he’s seen a lot people get damaged that he’s grown up, fans of, get kicked in the head, I understand, but by the same token, I watched my friend get loaded into an ambulance.
“I would love to have come to Drew and said, ‘Hey, thanks but no thanks in the interest of fairness,’ but the reality is that he is hurt and I expect him to be okay,” he added, but his target is still the Apex Predator.
“The key here, is the actual word, ‘Payback’ and Randy deserves it.”
