Tonight is the first night of IMPACT Wrestling’s Emergence, and it started with a bang, as Moose defended his TNA Championship against Trey Miguel, but had it stolen from him after an attack.
During the match, Moose successfully defended his TNA Championship against Trey Miguel in a dominant showing. Things ended when Moose was able to avoid a rollup attempt by Trey and delivered a huge spear to him for the victory. However, a returning EC3 made sure Moose didn’t get the happy ending he desired.
EC3 came up from behind and then hit his finisher on Moose. He then grabbed the belt and left with it, leaving the future of the title unknown. EC3 previously held the belt in his last run with the promotion before he signed with WWE, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens now that EC3 has the title in his possession.
