Tonight marks the second night of AEW’s Women’s Tag Team Cup Tournament: The Deadly Draw, and the promotion has pulled out a surprise. Tournament host Madusa told backstage interviewer Dasha Fuentes that she’d be Chris Jericho: Jim Cornette Is Under Suspension From AEW Until Further Noticein the tournament. Dasha seemed excited to pick Blue, which teamed her with the debuting Rachel Ellering. Ellering and Fuentes worked together in NXT, so they already could have chemistry.

Later on, Dasha and Rachael found out that they’d be facing the team of Ivelisse and Diamante in the quarter-finals:

This may come out of nowhere for fans who only know Dasha as an announcer, but she was initially hired as a wrestler for NXT back in 2014. Twitter user @SoDuTw shared a few images from the days before a knee injury shifted her backstage for good:
