During tonight’s NXT, William Regal announced that Dexter Lumis will be unable to compete in the upcoming Ladder Match for the NXT North American Championship at NXT TakeOver: XXX. Along with that, Regal announced some changes to the match, including last-chance qualifiers planned for next week.
According to Regal, Lumis – who suffered an ankle injury during his triple threat match – will not be medically cleared by TakeOver: XXX, forcing him to miss the match. Regal also announced that there will be two one-on-one matches between the various superstars who were not pinned or submitted in their respective Triple Threat matches. The winners of those matches will then be put into the Ladder Match at TakeOver: XXX, with the superstars competing for the vacant NXT North American Championship.
Unfortunately, due to injury, @DexterLumis has been removed from the #NorthAmericanTitle #LadderMatch.
