IMPACT Wrestling will be hosting a pay-per-view quality event in late-August over the course of two episodes of their weekly television series on AXS TV.
As first reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, IMPACT Wrestling “Emergence” will begin two weeks from tonight on Tuesday, August 18th, 2020, and conclude on Tuesday, August 25th, 2020.
It is also being reported that night two of the event will be headlined by Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo defending against former champion Jordynne Grace in a rematch from the July 18th Slammiversary PPV. In this match, there is expected to be a stipulation that is yet to be announced.
IMPACT has run pay-per-view quality events on television before but this is the first-ever Emergence event in the company’s history.
