Enzo Amore Won’t Wrestle Without Fans, Explains How He Uses Vince McMahon’s Mentality

Enzo Amore appeared on Busted Open Radio and had plenty to say about his pro wrestling future. He says recently wrestling with Brian Pillman Jr. and Ricky Morton has helped him love the business again. However, he won’t wrestle without crowds.

“One thing that I will say is I couldn’t bring myself in the present climate to get out in front of no fans,” Amore says. “I don’t want to say rest assured, but I can almost guarantee you that you won’t see my name pop up if there’s not a big ass crowd there. I’m no one without those people. That’s what makes pro wrestling, wrestling. They’ve managed to do some incredible things with what they’ve been given as far as AEW, NXT, RAW, WrestleMania, all the things that guys have done. IMPACT with Slammiversary. It’s going to be intriguing what the future holds for pro wrestling including a guy like me. I’ve been able to create controversy, stir the pot … It was mind blowing to me as a performer that other people that were performers did not step outside of the box in those moments and come join me in my path. People will see it more happening now … Time heals all wounds.”

Amore also criticized those that have refused to work angles with him in the past, saying that they don’t care about making money.

“If I can bring a million dollars to pro wrestling [and] you are a wrestler and you don’t want to work with me? You’re an idiot,” Amore says. “You’re not doing what is best for business. You are getting caught up in the hype [and] believing what these fans are saying to you. Believing what you see on the internet. When you come from that Vince McMahon mentality … you separate your feelings from this BS. You work, we manipulate, you create controversy and cash. The WWE has always been able to do that and I came from that mentality.”
