Although Cody Rhodes has been reigning as the AEW TNT Champion since May, the belt hasn’t been finished just yet, having been criticized by fans since its reveal. Taking to social media, Rhodes revealed that the belt will be finished in a couple of weeks, a handful of months after it was initially revealed.
When asked by a fan about the status of the title, Rhodes revealed that the belt will be fully finished on August 12, and that he’s seen it and it is “very elegant.” In another tweet, Rhodes confirmed that the championship isbn’t gold, but silver/nickel with “textures” on it. According to Rhodes, it does retain the same design of the initial title that many fans were not happy with it.
