The Packaging

This set features Summer Slam 2020 basic style packaging with the blue/orange/white color scheme as well as their names on the side with an image of the wrestler as well followed by everyone in the set listed on the back.

Undertaker

Undertaker is pretty much a quick repaint of his Basic 100 figure that came out not long ago. He has the head scan with his eyes rolled back and his tongue sticking out. You can see the crazy details in all of his tattoos as well as his long elbow pad and his finger-less, padded gloves. Then of course his singlet and tights with his logo on the side.

Overall, if you have Basic 100 it’s almost the same, just a different logo on his tights. If you didn’t pick that up or simply like collecting him I recommend picking this one up. It’s still an awesome figure and the detail is nice for a Basic, too.

Lana

Lana has two figures in this set, the main release in red as well as the chase variant in blue. A huge shout to Doing the Favor Podcast for helping me track down a chase Lana figure. Lana features a new head scan, with a decent likeness, as well as a super long ponytail down her back. Both figures are wearing her one-piece singlet, one being red while the other being baby blue. She also has colored arm bands, both designated to the proper color per each figure, followed by knee pads and kick pads.

Overall, the detail on her is nice, especially for a Basic. I wish she didn’t have two fist hands but regardless it’s a nice updated figure of her in wrestling attire finally. We were long overdue for one of these really. If you like her I recommend grabbing it as who knows when we will see another figure of her anytime soon honestly. I would recommend the Chase as well as it just pops more, but the common in red is nice, too.

Seth Rollins

Rollins is actually one of my favorite figures in the set. I’m sure a lot of people are eye rolling seeing him again, especially in a very flat attire, but this one comes with abdomen tape, which is a removable accessory. I love they included that for him as it’s a great accessory to have. The fact is an actual accessory than painted really makes the figure special, too. Besides that, he features his latest serious head scan as well as black wrist tape, black tights and black kid pads. He also has his tattoo down his back of course.

Overall, while this is not the most exciting Rollins figure the extra accessory makes it for me. I may pick up more just to have more of those for other figures. I’d recommend picking it up for that alone honestly, otherwise I’d say it’s a sleeper figure.

Becky Lynch

Becky’s figure is really nice and is one of the gems in the set I’d say. She features her latest head scan, prior to her Ultimate, which I think looks a lot like her compared to several of her others. This one has makeup around her eyes and on her forehead, which is just like how she had it in the match, which is a great attention to detail and makes this figure of her stand out that much more. She’s also wearing her purple/silver/gold singlet from this match, with the black details on it, which is a nice change from her other figures. Not to mention her purple armbands. Becky also has her purple/gold knee pads with the black accents as well as her tall, black, laced boots.

Overall, this is a nice Becky figure as it’s very different from a lot of her others, including the makeup on her face. For a Basic figure I feel Mattel went out of their way to make it look special and they did. If you’re a fan of hers I’d recommend this one especially as it is unique. The scan is nice and the detail is great, too. Definitely don’t pass on this one if you’re a fan of her.

Ricochet

Ricochet is also another gem in this set as he is in his Batman Nightwing style attire, which really should’ve been an Elite figure. Hopefully Mattel still makes him as an Elite as this attire truly deserves that. Regardless, the detail on this is great from front to back and head to toe. He has his latest head scan, which is good, but hopefully they give him another sooner than later. You can see the logos on his chest and back as well as his legs. He even has knee pads, which his Elites do not have for whatever reason.

Overall, it’s a really cool figure of him. His figures seem to sell really well, too. I’d definitely recommend this one as it’s a great Basic figure of him in an awesome attire we may never see again. Fingers crossed we get an Elite but who knows. Don’t sleep on scooping this one!

Overall

Overall, this set is pretty good. It has some real gems like Lana, Ricochet and Becky in my opinion. The color scheme of the packaging is really nice, too, as it makes them truly pop on display if you keep them mint. Don’t sleep on getting several of these as they’re pretty nice for Basics. This set has also started surfacing at Walmart if you’re interested.
