Before Dynamite gets underway, AEW put out a pre-show to set the stage for tonight’s action:

The TNT Championship bout kicks off the show with Eddie Kingston accepting the challenge.

TNT Championship: Cody © vs. Eddie Kingston

Early on, Eddie Kingston hurts his knee and that plays a role in the entire match. On commentary, the team puts over Kingston selling gear to survive COVID-19.

Eddie Kingston would use the no disqualification aspect to his advantage utilizing thumbtacks, Cody’s weight belt, and More in an effort to win the championship. In the end, a figure four leg lock that partially took place in a pile of thumbtacks secure the victory and another successful retention of the championship for Cody.

WINNER: Cody

MJF vs. Griff Garrison

MJF beat up poor Griff, who also received a tongue-lashing in the process. MJF won with a middle rope teeter-totter piledriver.

WINNER: MJF.

An update on Dr. Baker:

Words from MOX:

Taz and Brian Cage come out and are interrupted by Darby Allin but Ricky Starks is now aligned with the FTW duo.

A women’s tag tournament is coming to AEW.

The Young Bucks vs. Butcher & Blade

This match started out in a kitchen and both teams would fight in the backstage area until matt Jackson would Superkick The Blade on an escalator.

Back from commercial break, the match is back in the ring. Chaos would ensue leading to a woof on a dive from Blade. Both teams would fight up the entranceway and The Bucks would win after simultaneous dives of the entrances tunnels through two tables.

WINNERS: The Young Bucks!

Ivelisse vs. Diamante

A Big Swole promo played mid-match.

This match was heavy in physicality with both women exchanging heavy shots in their Dynamite debut. Ivelisse nails Diamante with a kick before both women continue exchanging. Diamante connects with clotheslines and a German suplex for a near fall.

Later, Diamante looks for her finisher and Ivelisse avoids it before landing a powerbomb for two. Diamante recovers and rolls up Ivelisse in a small package for the win.

WINNER: Diamante

Hangman Page vs. 5

It’s simply an elongated squash match with Adam winning with a pop-up powerbomb. After the match, Brodie would offer Adam a spot in the group. Adam would say he doesn’t want to join a cult. A brawl ensues. FTR saves Adam as Kenny Omega comes out a little too late

Jurrassic Express vs. Chris Jericho and Jake Hager

Good back and forth night with a lot of near falls for both babyfaces on Chris Jericho. Marko would even get involved hitting a dragonrana on Jericho allowing Jungle Book to get a two-count.

In the homestretch, a masked Luchador, later revealed to be a returning Sammy Guevara cracks Luchasaurus with Floyd the bat. with the Inner Circle at full power, baby down the babyfaces and it is announced that next week, they will be Jurassic express, best friends and Cassidy in a 10-man tag team match.
