Moose Reveals Initial TNA Championship Plans That Were Changed Due To COVID-19

The TNA World Heavyweight Championship was supposed to come back at the TNA-themed pay-per-view by IMPACT Wrestling. However, coronavirus changed those plans.

“Screw coronavirus,” said Moose on the Wrestling with Sports podcast. “We actually had to change the storyline a lot because the initial storyline we were supposed to have [TNA: There’s No Place Like Home] and the main event of that show was supposed to be the King of the Mountain match. They were gonna announce the day of the show on social media that now the King of the Mountain match was for the TNA Heavyweight Championship. I was supposed to win it but then coronavirus happened and everything got shut down and that show got canceled.”

Due to the change, Moose just declared himself the TNA Champion.
