WWE Extreme Rules ‘Eye For An Eye’ Match To Reportedly Use CGI

If you sycophants were looking forward to seeing a shoot eye of Rey Mysterio’s or Seth Rollins’ getting dislodged during WWE Extreme Rules, you best think again.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, CGI will be used in “The Horror Show” to indicate that someone’s eye will get popped out which could be surprising to some as WWE has a strong relationship with special effects artist Tom Savini and his studio. Rollins did mention in a Tweet tat he was doing “tape study” in preparation for the match that promises mutilation:

The “Eye For An Eye” match, along with the “Swamp Fight” between Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman, will be the two pre-taped cinematic matches on the card for July 19.
