Chris Jericho finally got his hands on Orange Cassidy in the main event of AEW Fyter Fest Night 2.

Aside from a quick start from Cassidy, who was able to use his eccentric tactics to get ahead, the match was nearly all Jericho early on. “Le Champion” worked Cassidy’s back and was aided by Santana & Ortiz, who were able to sneak in some shots while the referee was distracted. Cassidy showed his serious side and kept battling against Jericho, but the former AEW Champion was in control for most of the match.

Near the end of the match, Cassidy scared Jericho with a surprise superkick but wasn’t able to get the pinfall. He would then go to the top rope and hit a huge diving DDT for another two count. However, Jericho would lock in the Walls of Jericho, which was escaped by a cradle attempt by Cassidy.

Santana & Ortiz then threw orange juice in Cassidy’s eyes and Jericho was able to hit Cassidy with a bat. Jericho then hit a Codebreaker but Cassidy still kicked out. The end finally came after Jericho hit a Judas Effect.
