AEW Reschedules Two Previously Postponed Dynamite Dates For 2021

AEW does have plans to get back on the road, but they are certainly going the Walter White route by treading lightly.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, All Elite Wrestling had to postpone two planned dates in April, both of which played host to Dynamite before in Philadelphia and Boston. The company took to Twitter this afternoon to shared the rescheduled dates, both of which are not planned for this year at the moment, but rather are taking place in April 2021.

The Philadelphia show is now scheduled for April 7, 2021 while Boston is rescheduled for two weeks later on April 21.

AEW also let fans know that tickets that were already purchased to those respective shows will remain valid and if a particular party would like a refund, they can do so at the point of purchase. In addition to that, the company released this statement in tandem with both announcements of the date changes:

“As illustrated in our mission statement, the safety and well-being of our fans and talent is always our top priority. AEW sends heartfelt thanks around the world to healthcare and other frontline workers who are answering the call to protect and serve their communities.”

AEW isin’t the first wrestling promotion to reschedule some of their dates for much later on. MLW actually did so with their previously planned July shows one month ago to the date. Their Philadelphia Battle Riot III event which will now be held in early December and their New York City event at The Melrose Ballroom will now be held on February 4, 2021.
