This week on WWE RAW, Rey Mysterio gave an update about his potential retirement. First, Seth Rollins took Byron Saxton’s place at the broadcast table so he could speak to Mysterio. The legendary luchadore said his prognosis is promising. “My eye is definitely healing,” said Mysterio. He warned Rollins that he’s coming for him. “The second that bell rings, there’s a 619 with the name, ‘Monday Night Messiah,’ written all over it,” said Mysterio. “You’re gonna pay.”

Rollins responded by saying Mysterio could have walked away a hero, but he continues to spread lies about the Monday Night Messiah. “I gave you the opportunity to walk away a legend,” Rollins said. Rollins invited Mysterio and his son Dominik to come to WWE RAW next week so he could show them Mysterio’s sacrifice was for the greater good. Aleister Black attacked Rollins while he tried to explain himself. Humberto Carrillo came to the ring to join forces with Black in a match against Murphy and Austin Theory. Carrillo gained the upper hand over Theory early on, but Rollins’ newest recruit showcased his impressive athleticism. Black and Murphy tagged in and traded blows. Black took Murphy down with a springboard moonsault. Carrillo dove onto Theory and Black rocked Murphy with a stiff kick for the win. Rollins distracted Black and Carrillo by wearing Mysterio’s mask and using his music. Rollins, Murphy and Theory ganged up on Black and Carrillo and left them laying again.

Murphy’s Law rocked Black, and Rollins floored him with a Stomp.
