WWE Backstage viewership dips slightly with CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and more.
The June 2nd edition of WWE Backstage on FS1 followed the first-ever cable TV airing of 2015’s WrestleMania 31 in its entirety. The Supercard featured Daniel Bryan winning a ladder match in an all-time classic for the WWE Intercontinental Championship as well as Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to win the WWE Championship in a match that was originally Brock Lesnar versus Roman Reigns. According to Showbuzz Daily, WWE Backstage pulled in 121,000 viewers, down from last week’s episode, which had 125,000 viewers tune in.
CM Punk was also back this week and he interviewed Daniel Bryan in the first interaction between the two men in many years. Punk and Bryan discussed their time together on the road, working a program that led to Punk’s real-life marriage to AJ Lee, and much more.
