Sting Happy To See Jake Roberts ‘Healthy & Back On National TV’

Sting doesn’t dabble in social media too much so when he drops from the rafters to do such you know “The Man They Call” means business. Stinger did just that today as he got to see his old rival in Jake Roberts be a featured player on mainstream television once more last night on AEW Dynamite.

“Good to see @JakeSnakeDDT healthy and back on national TV in a prominent role! One of the all-time great heels,” Sting shared with fans on Twitter.

Sting and Jake faced one another while Roberts had a brief stint in WCW during the second half of 1992. The two had a coal miner’s glove match at Halloween Havoc in which Roberts lost, making it his only PPV with the promotion, but that particular feud may be one of Sting’s most memorable rivalries.

He is a book reviewer for The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, loves Penguins hockey, Pirates baseball and the lowly New York Jets.

He lived in Philadelphia for five years before setting up shop back in Pittsburgh.
