During tonight’s episode of NXT, the brand announced that next week, the NXT Tag Team Championships will be on the line once again. According to NXT, Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher – who has been standing in for Pete Dunne – will take on Imperium, who have been trying to get their hands on NXT gold for some time and will now have the chance.
The match is sure to be another great one, as Riddle and Thatcher have done a great job forming a makeshift tag-team duo in the midst of Dunne being away from the team. With Thatcher slowly growing into his own as a member of the championship duo, Imperium will have some trouble on their hands as they look to take down the reigning champions.
