AJ Styles made his return to Monday Night RAW where he competed in and won a gauntlet match that placed him in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match taking place this weekend at the pay-per-view.
Speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Styles talked about how he made his way back to RAW after losing to Undertaker in their Boneyard match at WrestleMania 36, and he was pretty candid about things. “What do you mean how I made it back to RAW?” he said. “I drove to RAW, I got there, I was ready to fight. Do you want to hear me say I dug myself out of the grave? That I’m a zombie?…is that what you wanted to hear? If there’s an opportunity, I’m going to take advantage of it. Apollo Crews got hurt, I took advantage of the situation.”
Now, Styles will have a chance to wash the Undertaker loss away with a victory at Money in the Bank, which would leave with another opportunity to once again grab hold of some WWE gold.
