Otis Wants To Return To NXT To Face Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne

Otis has quickly seen his star begin to shine brighter as he climbs the ranks of WWE. However, speaking to SPORTBible, he said that he wouldn’t mind making a return to the world of NXT to face the likes of Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne.

During the conversation, Otis was also asked about the future for Heavy Machinery, and said that there are no plans to break the two up anytime soon. “With Heavy Machinery, we are a long, long brotherhood that was born in NXT,” he said. “Our anniversary’s July 22nd, so I wanna say four years as a tag team together this summer in July. There’s no word on that [whether we’ll split] because we’re just doing what we love to do. And ‘Tucky’ is my big brother because Otis, as a character, is always going to need someone to guide him because he’s an emotional maniac.”

As for NXT, Otis said that he doesn’t see why the two couldn’t make a quick return if given the right opportunity. “And going back to NXT? I don’t see why not. In my eyes, to get the opportunity in the ring I love it. If we were back in NXT [with the likes of] Matt Riddle with Pete [Dunne], let’s get it on, man.” he said. “Let’s get it on. That cries entertainment for me, man, so I’d be more than happy to go NXT, Raw, SmackDown, 205 [Live]. Why can’t I go to 205? What’s wrong with that? Is there a weight limit at 205 pounds? 205 pounds. Come on, guys. We need 305 Live here.”

While Heavy Machinery making a trip to NXT seems unlikely at the moment, it would result in an incredible match between two extremely charismatic duos. As for Otis, he currently has his eyes set on winning the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the upcoming pay-per-view.
