Cody vs. Shawn Spears
Cody maintains control early on until he goes for a moonsault, and Spears gets out of the way. Spears follows up by nailing Cody with a piledriver. Commercial break!
Late in the match, Spears goes for the C4, putting Cody through the table on the arena floor. Cody beats the count into the ring as Aubrey Edwards says “nine!” and Spears goes for the C4. Cody escapes and he nails Spears with multiple Cross Rhodes for a near fall, Cody then gets Spears in a figure four leg lock and scores a rare pinfall victory with the storied submissions
Even with two Cross Rhodes, it’s STILL not enough to put the #AEW Chairman way!
