Bray Wyatt Defeats John Cena In Bizarre Firefly Funhouse Match At WrestleMania 36

At WWE WrestleMania 36 Part 2, John Cena and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt clashed in a Firefly Fun House Match. Cena entered the WWE Performance Center but the video feed cut to the Firefly Fun House. “Who are we really,” asked Wyatt. “Let’s take a real deep look at who you really are. You’re about to face your most dangerous opponent yet: yourself. Welcome to the Firefly Fun House.” The video feed glitched and suddenly Cena was in the room. Ramblin’ Rabbit talked to Cena and pointed him toward Wyatt. Cena opened the door and left. Now in a dark room, Cena looked around and the Mr. McBossman n puppet popped up. The puppet asked Cena if he has Ruthless Aggression. The video feed cut back and force between Kurt Angle, during Cena’s WWE SmackDown debut, and Wyatt. Cena came to the ring, wearing some retro trunks, and Wyatt quoted Angle’s line. Cena said he has ruthless aggression and tried to punch Wyatt. He ducked and mocked Cena for his biggest failure. Wyatt kept doding Cena. The feed spliced to a video package right from the 80s and Wyatt, wearing his Muscleman Dance gear, cut an promo right out of the 80s. Wyatt introduced his tag partner, Cena, who was rapidly curling weights.

“Whatchu gonna do brother, when you realize that egomania has been running wild on you?” Wyatt asked Cena. The video feed cut to a video package of Cena’s Dr. of Thuganomics gimmick. Cena started rapping at Wyatt and called him a “slut for opportunity.” Wyatt said he’s had to earn everything and it’s always taken from him anyway. He said Cena’s not a hero; he’s a bully. Wyatt called Cena a horrible person who will do anything for fame. “This is your last chance, man,” said Wyatt. Cena started rapping again and he tried to attack Wyatt. But Wyatt hit him with a chained fist. The video feed cut to Wyatt’s old Wyatt Family gimmick and he criticized Cena.

The feed showed clips from the duo’s match at WWE WrestleMania 30. “It’s time to rewrite my own story.” Wyatt attacked Cena in the ring but Cena countered the Sister Abigail. Wyatt offered Cena a chair and revisited the similar situation at WrestleMania 30. Cena swung the chair but Wyatt turned into Eric Bischoff.

The feed showed clips of WCW and Cena walked to the ring to the N.W.O. music. Cena attacked Wyatt and the feed showed clips of Cena’s career in WWE. Wyatt morphed into Husky the Pig and The Fiend attacked Cena. He locked in the Mandible Claw and hit the Sister Abigail. The Fiend stood over Cena, who disappeared. The monster said, “Let me in,” and the feed faded to black.
