The latest episode of NXT UK hit the WWE Network today, headlined by a Number One Contender Battle Royal in the main event. A huge number of NXT UK’s stars vie for a shot against dominant champion WALTER, but only one can come out on top. Here’s what went down on the program:
- Jinny and Kay Lee Ray prevailed in tag team action against Piper Niven and Dani Luna.

- Xia Brookside made quick work of Amale with her Broken Wings finisher.
- Tyler Bate, Trent Seven, Ilja Dragunov, Noam Dar, Dave Mastiff, A-Kid, Joe Coffey, Ashton Smith, Oliver Carter, Alexander Wolfe, Kassius Ohno, Flash Morgan Webster, Jordan Devlin, Saxon Huxley, Ligero, Tyson T-Bone, Ridge Holland, Kenny Williams, Travis Banks, and Amir Jordan competed in the main event battle royal.
- The final five were Tyler Bate, Noam Dar, Joe Coffey, Alexander Wolfe, and Ilja Dragunov, with Dragunov outlasting the field by eliminating Tyler Bate.

The show indicated that there would be a “Rise of NXT UK” special next week, which could mean that we won’t be seeing future events until the coronavirus pandemic runs its course. Here’s hoping that WALTER and Dragunov have a hell of a match when it’s all said and done.
