AEW Taped Several Weeks Worth Of Dark Matches This Wednesday (Spoilers)

AEW Dark

All Elite Wrestling had a successful showing this past Wednesday, taping a great episode of TV in front of an empty arena in Jacksonville, Florida. Like usual, beyond the matches and segments that aired on TV, AEW also taped a number of Dark matches, and Wrestling Inc. has the scoop on what was filmed. They’re reporting that they could be used for AEW Dark or as a substitute in case next week’s Dynamite doesn’t come together.

In case you want to be spoiled, here is what AEW reportedly put to tape last night:

Matches taped before Dynamite

  • Jake Hager squashes Joe Alonzo
  • SCU defeats Shawn Spears and Robert “Ego” Anthony
    • Ego is the first new tag partner for Spears after starting his social media campaign. After the defeat, Spears attacks Ego.
  • Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall defeat Matt “Sex” Sells and Jon Cruz
  • Kip Sabian defeats Suge D

Matches taped after Dynamite

  • Wardlow squashes a jobber from Tennessee
  • Colt Cabana defeats Brandon Cutler
    • Wrestling Inc reports that the match was restarted at one point and Colt looked visibly frustrated
  • Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss team up to win against Corey Hollis and an unknown wrestler
  • Darby Allin defeats Kip Sabian
