For the first time ever, WWE SmackDown will be presented live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. This comes after reports from PWInsider & WrestleVotes that the Performance Center was the contingency plan for events amid the growing concern over the Coronavirus.
WWE released the following statement to Pro Wrestling Sheet:
“Friday Night SmackDown on March 13 will air live as regularly scheduled and emanate from WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida with only essential personnel in attendance. The event was originally scheduled in Detroit, Michigan.”
Regarding WrestleMania 36 in Tampa, Hillsborough County held a meeting today where the ultimate decision was to wait another week before making a final decision on WrestleMania 36.
