UPDATE: The event has been canceled by the Prudential Center.

UPDATE 2: AEW has announced that the Newark, NJ episode of Dynamite will now move to July 22. Fans who purchased tickets to the event will be able to attend in July for free, and AEW is also honoring refund requests. Dynamite on March 25 will be relocated, although AEW has not announced specifically where at this juncture.

Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka has issued the following statement, advising non-essential public gatherings to be postponed for 30 days minimum.

AEW Dynamite / Blood And Guts is scheduled to take place at Newark’s Prudential Center on March 25. AEW has not yet commented on the status of their television events. Their previous statement, released on Tuesday, had said all events would continue as planned but they would inform fans if any changes were to be made.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

All AEW events are currently moving forward as scheduled.  Of course, the safety and well-being of AEW fans, partners and talent is always our top priority, so we will continue to closely monitor the rapidly evolving situation related to COVID-19 and be guided by government officials, health organizations and venue management.  AEW will update ticket purchasers if there are any changes to the event schedule, and we encourage everyone in the AEW family to be good to themselves – and each other – by taking preventative actions as recommended by the CDC and WHO.

It’s looking like AEW Dynamite will not take place next week as scheduled as the show in Rochester has reportedly been rescheduled for July.

The coronavirus continues to have a major effect on the professional world, and now it looks to have the status of All Elite Wrestling’s calendar up in the air. Ticketmaster has confirmed next Wednesday’s event in Rochester has been postponed and will now take place on July 8.

It’s currently unknown what AEW plans to do for this week’s broadcast on TNT; it’s worth noting that the event is still listed for the original date on the venue’s website but Ticketmaster has started alerting fans about the changes. Wrestlezone has reached out for comment and will update the situation as more information comes out.
