Keith Lee defended his NXT North American Championship tonight on NXT, taking down Cameron Grimes in a surprising back-and-forth match between both superstars. After the win, however, Lee was taken down by a surprise attack from Damian Priest, who took down Lee with a nightstick. Dominik Dijakovic came running into the ring afterwards to chase out Priest, but unfortunately for him, Lee mistook him for the man who attacked him, and delivered a brutal Spirit Bomb to Dijakovic as a result.

Grimes calls for his finish. Lee almost counters with the Spirit Bomb. Grimes avoids it. Lee destroys Grimes with the pounce. Lee hits the Big Bang Catastrophe for the win.

After the match, Damian Priest attacks Lee with a nightstick. Dijakovic makes the save. Lee is out cold. Dijakovic picks up the title. Lee gets up and drops Dijakovic with the Spirit Bomb. Lee thinks it was Dijakovic who attacked him.
