Cody vs. Ortiz

On a night where are the rules for the upcoming Blood & Guts match are to be explained, the action kicks off with members of the Inner Circle and The Elite in one-on-one competition.

In a follow-up from last week’s angle, Lance Archer is seen in the crowd with Jake Roberts and it is announced that Jake is now the manager of Lance Archer.

Early on, Ortiz maintains control of Cody. Brandi Rhodes, who is also with Cody, took off her belt and whipped Santana. Cody would hit a suicide dive on Santana before Santana could hit Arn Anderson. Lance Archer would try to jump the rail end but would be held off by Jake Roberts.

Cody would win with the Figure Four after applying several Dragon screw leg whips to Ortiz.

WINNER: Cody.

After the match: Santana would jump Cody Rhodes but Matt Jackson and Kenny Omega would make the save. Chris Jericho would be shown on the video wall having just attacked Nick Jackson in the backstage area. In our first picture-in-picture commercial break, Nick Jackson would be receiving medical attention.

Nyla Rose & Bea Priestley vs. Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander

The match began with all four women going at it at the same time before the referee would regain control.

The first portion of the match saw the heels take control before Hikaru & Statlander would mount a little bit of a comeback. There was a moment where Rose and Statlander had a brief one-on-one confrontation reigniting their rivalry from Revolution.

In the home stretch, Nyla and Bea would try a double team but Shida countered out of a powerbomb with a hurricanrana. It wouldn’t matter because Nyla would just hit a spear and the Beast Bomb.

WINNERS: Nyla Rose and Bea Priestley

After, the allure of championship gold was too much as Bea Priestley attacked Nyla, making it very clear that she wanted to eventually become champion herself.

MJF, Butcher & Blade vs, Jurassic Express

The match started off with Maxwell Jacob Friedman bullying Marko Stunt. Max would turn his back to talk crap to the crowd and by the time he turned back around Luchasaurus was the legal man. the next few minutes would be the heels trying to overcome the size of the prehistoric one with the numbers game. Ultimately, Lucha would drag both Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Blade in order to make the hot tag to Jungle Boy.

Marko Stunt, the smallest dog in the fight, would show a lot of aggression and try to direct traffic as he tried to get Maxwell Jacob Friedman into position for Jungle Boy to jump on him but ultimately it would lead to their downfall as the numbers game was just too strong.

WINNERS: MJF & Butcher & Blade

Britt Baker would come out for her usual promo with Tony Schiavone. She played up the clueless heel not understanding that the fans don’t like her. Out comes Big Swole. Baker tried to tell her that the only person anybody cares about him her family is her boyfriend (Cedric Alexander). Swole wood responded that she’s married, “Bay! Bay!” showing off her ring.

Death Triangle vs. Private Party & Joey Janela

The debut of the Death Triangle was a successful one. After what was a wild and hectic match, they would pull out the win. After the match, they locked in I triple submission on all three of their opponents, which Schiavone called “The Death Triangle”

WINNER: Death Triangle.

Jim Ross laid out the rules for Blood & Guts. It is literally just War Games with the more traditional WCW rules. Submission or Surrender only.

Jon Moxley cut a promo on the Inner Circle. Moxley would say that he’ll be watching Blood & Guts and he is in the Inner Circle’s blindspot which means they should be very scared.

Adam Page & Dustin Rhodes vs. Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara

The Inner Circle would be in control leading into our final commercial break. Adam would mount a comeback, leading to a Buckshot Lariat attempt which would be countered by Chris Jericho into the Lionttamer only for Dustin Rhodes to break it up. In the end, Adam page would put away Sammy Guevara with a Buckshot.

After the match, the remaining members of the Inner Circle flooded the ring leading to Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega coming down in an attempt to make the save, but the Inner Circle would overpower them. Matt Jackson would come out and prevent a triple powerbomb off the stage to Adam Page. but, Chris Jericho would utilize a few vicious chair shots to the head of Adam and Matt Jackson to leave the Inner Circle standing tall to end the broadcast.
