Ring of Honor sent the following to WrestleZone:

RUSH AND BANDIDO CLASH AT PURE EXCELLENCE IN COLUMBUS

Two of ROH’s biggest stars will face off for just the second time ever when RUSH meets Bandido at Pure Excellence Night 1 in Columbus, Ohio on April 10.

If RUSH, the reigning ROH World Champion, still has the title at that point, it will be a Proving Ground Match (meaning that Bandido will earn a future title shot if he defeats RUSH or takes him to a time-limit draw).

The only other time RUSH and Bandido wrestled each other was at ROH’s 17th Anniversary show last March. The two Mexican stars were both unbeaten heading into that match, which was won by RUSH after 15 minutes of furious action.

RUSH, who regained the ROH World Title from PCO in a Triple Threat Match that included Mark Haskins at Gateway To Honor on Feb. 29, has become even more vicious as of late. He and fellow La Faccion Ingobernable members Dragon Lee and Kenny King have been absolutely ruthless in their quest to make ROH their empire.

Bandido, one-third of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions with Flamita and Rey Horus, is a threat to steal the show on every card in which he appears. He’s also proven that he’s capable of beating anyone. A victory over RUSH would be the biggest of his career and could potentially set him up for a shot at the ROH World Title.

Which of these decorated luchadors will come out on top in a match that could have major ramifications on the world title picture? Join us live in Columbus or streaming for HonorClub to find out!
