Finn Balor made a brief appearance during tonight’s episode of NXT, where he came out to discuss his impact on the wrestling world. Unfortunately for him, things came to a rough end at the hands of Walter & Imperium.
When Balor came out, he first spoke on his ability to build legacies everywhere he went, and how he’s been at his peak for some time now. “When the bell rings, I’m the guy. I build brands. Japan, done it. Mexico, done it. Intercontinental Championship, done it,” he said.” Universal Championship, done it. NXT Championship, done it… The business is trying to peak at WrestleMania. I’ve been at my peak for 20 years, so the big question is what’s the next move for the Prince? Whose gonna get that Finn rub? Matt Riddle got it. Johnny Gargano got it. Hell, even Ilja Dragunov got it.”
Soon after, Walter & Imperium came out, where the group assaulted Balor, who was able to hold his own for a bit before being taken down completely. Afterwards, the group stood tall over Balor, displaying their latest display of dominance.
