Lance Archer Signs Multi-Year Deal With All Elite Wrestling

It looks like it’s time for everybody to die in AEW. Lance Archer, who previously competed for TNA, WWE, and NJPW, has signed a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling. A Texas native, the 6’8″ grappler is known across the world as “The Murderhawk Monster” and “The American Psychopath.” He has a history with several AEW wrestlers, including Jon Moxley, who he came to blows with during his time in New Japan.

The former IWGP United States Champion had this to say about his new home:

“I’ve been in the business for almost half of my life, but with AEW, I’m setting my sights on the best chapter of my career so far. This company champions the creative, competitive and electrifying environment that I’ve been waiting for my whole career. No matter where I go—no matter who steps in front of me—I’m the one you should be afraid of at AEW.”

AEW President Tony Khan added that Archer has “made his mark in every corner of the world. He’s brutal, colorful and will be a factor the minute he steps into the ring.”

Lance Archer was one of the top names rumored to be revealed as the Exalted One outside of frontrunner Matt Hardy. Time will tell if he’s still in that conversation after today’s announcement or if he’ll find his own way in All Elite Wrestling.
