Report: Samoa Joe Injured During Commercial Shoot, Could Miss ‘Considerable’ Amount Of Time

Samoa Joe can’t catch a break as far as the injury bug is concerned.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting this morning that Joe was hurt this past week while filming a stunt for a commercial. Joe apparently hit his head when a table didn’t break properly. This is several weeks after Joe suffered a concussion on RAW during a tag match against AOP.  No word as to how long Joe could be out exactly, but according to his sources, Satin says he could be out for “a considerable amount of time.”

Samoa Joe had already been out with a head injury, with that one reportedly happening during his tag team match with Kevin Owens against Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy on January 27. Joe hit his head and ended up being removed from the match by the official, and F4WOnline.com and PWTorch both confirmed it was a legitimate injury and not a storyline one. It was confirmed a week later that Joe missed the February 3 show due to injury, although it was not specifically stated how severe it was.

Joe returned to action on February 11, with WWE announcing him for a tag team match on RAW. He had already missed several weeks due to a reported broken thumb sustained in the fall, making a brief run on RAW commentary until he was cleared for that injury on December 23.

If any further developments occur, we here at Wrestlezone will keep you updated.
