WWE Reportedly Announcing Location for WrestleMania 37

According to Wrestling Observer, WWE is expected to announce the location of WrestleMania 37 later today.  It’s worth noting the company at this time has not teased any press event to make the location announcement official as they have done in the past few years.

There has been much speculation from industry sources and mainstream outlets like the L.A. Times, that the 2021 edition of WWE‘s mega-event could take place in Los Angeles, California. In April last year, Arash Markazi reported that city officials and those behind the multi-billion dollar SoFi Stadium had made a favorable pitch to host the event ahead of hosting the Super Bowl in February 2022.

The City of Angels has hosted the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’ in the past on 3 separate occasions. It was one of three host cities in 1986 that all featured parts of the second WrestleMania. In 1991 it hosted WrestleMania VII and once again for WrestleMania 21 in 2005.

Curbed L.A. reported this week the new state-of-the-art stadium is 85% complete with 3,200 people working to get the venue open before July. It will be the new home of the NFL’S Rams and Chargers along with Summer Olympics in 2028.
