WWE applied for two trademarks on January 24th, 2020, one of the trademarks concerns a recently-released superstar.

WWE applied to trademark “Viktor,” the in-ring name of one-half of The Ascension tag team. Viktor, aka Rick Victor, and Konnor, aka Connor O’Brien, were released in December of 2019. The tandem found a majority of their success in the NXT brand during the flourishment of the brand at Full Sail University. they would be moved up to Monday Night Raw in 2015 and seldom-used after that, never capturing gold on the main WWE roster.

The tandem has accepted some bookings since being released from WWE.

Also on January 24th, WWE filed a trademark on Dana Brooke. Dana Brooke is currently on the Friday Night SmackDown brand and has seen more television time in recent months than she has in the majority of her WWE main roster career.
