In-Ring Segment: Seth Rollins, AOP, and Buddy Murphy
Rollins tells the crowd that every member of the WWE Universe had a hand in making him the man he is today. Without them, there would be no “Monday Night Messiah”. Rollins thanks the crowd for all of the faith they have placed in him. Rollins is forever in our debt. Rollins thanks Buddy Murphy specifically. Murphy rose up and now he stands on the right side of history. Rollins officially announces Murphy as the newest disciple of the Monday Night Messiah. Rollins tells the locker room that it’s time to pick a side. They are either with Rollins or against him. Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe interrupt. Owens says Rollins talks too much. Owens says Rollins’ problem is that he didn’t get rid of Owens and Joe. Owens wants to fight. Rollins tells Owens they can fight but not right now. They need to figure out a proper time and place for this. Joe calls Rollins an asshat. Rollins tells Owens and Joe to come on down to the ring. Owens tells Rollins they are not alone. The Viking Raiders join Owens and Joe on the ramp. Owens and Co hit the ring and clear it. Akam eats a Stunner from Owens. The Viking Raiders toss Murphy into a Uranage by Joe.
Backstage, Rollins says they are challenging the Viking Raiders tonight. It will be Murphy and Rollins.
United States Championship Ladder Match: Andrade (c) w/Zelina Vega vs. Rey Mysterio
As soon as the bell rings Andrade goes for a ladder. Mysterio starts to as well but thinks better of it. Mysterio dropkicks Andrade’s ladder into his face. Mysterio tries a ranna but Andrade counters and slams Mysterio into the barricade. Andrade sets up a superplex. Mysterio reverses it into an avalanche ranna. Andrade lands neck first on a ladder. After the break, Andrade misses a running knee in the corner. Andrade is sent flying out of the ring. Mysterio lands a seated senton off the ring post to the outside. Mysterio sends Andrade careening into a ladder in the corner after a ranna. Mysterio brings another ladder into the ring. Mysterio climbs the ladder but Andrade cuts him off. Andrade hits the three amigos on Mysterio, with the last suplex being on a ladder. Andrade sets up a ladder between the second rope and the ladder standing in the middle of the ring. Mysterio tries another avalanche ranna, but Andrade reverses it into a second rope powerbomb onto a ladder.
