The show opens up with the Fatal 4-way tag team match to determine the number one contenders for SCU.

The Young Bucks vs. Proud N’ Powerful vs. Best Friends vs. Hangman Adam Page & Kenny Omega

The action was all over the place and one of the signature spots was a 4-way suplex spot where Orange Cassidy had to come in and assist as the crowd became abuzz.

The Young Bucks would then take over but hesitate in superkicking Hangman. Hangman would tag himself in and he and Kenny Omega would get the win with a buckshot V trigger.

WINNER: Hangman & Omega

Cody Rhodes came out and accepted the challenge of MJF. He named stipulations off one-by-one and said that perhaps MJF is afraid of letting Wardlow get too popular, he said he would have no problem not touching him until the pay-per-view and he also said that he can handle the pain of being whipped on television.

Cody said he lives rent-free in the head of Maxwell Jacob Friedman and he gladly would answer all these stipulations and give him his own star at AEW Revolution.

Janela promo about not wanting anything to do with Penelope Ford but she continues to try to get over at his expense.

Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander vs. Mel and Brandi Rhodes

The bulk of the match was spent as a showcase to introduce the audience to Mel. The commentary team really harped on her size.

Statlander would eventually get in the ring with Brandi Rhodes and it would appear that she was going to put her away with the Big Bang Theory but Mel makes the save.

The match would conclude with Kris getting the win over Mel and Brandi berating her fallen disciple.

WINNER: Shida and Statlander.

Another dark order vignette aired and they appeared to be eyeing Hangman Page as a recruit.

Jon Moxley vs Sammy Guevara

Jon Moxley came in driving the car given to him by Chris Jericho. It was a back-and-forth battle for a short length of time but Sammy Guevara would end up trying to dive onto Loxley and get caught into a rear-naked choke which would give the former WWE Champion the win.

WINNER: Jon Moxley

After the match, Chris Jericho came out and he and the Inner Circle ended up beating up John Moxley with Jericho taking a spike off of his jacket and jamming it in the eye of Moxley.

DDP, Dustin Rhodes, and QT Marshall vs. The Butcher & The Blade and MJF.

Diamond Dallas Page at the age of 63 wrestled in his traditional gear without a shirt. The match was built around page trying to get his hands on MJF.

Later in the match, Dustin Rhodes wood nail mjf with a Canadian Destroyer and then Diamond Dallas Page would get The Diamond Cutter on to Friedman. Ultimately, The Butcher and the blade would make sure that that wasn’t the end of the match.

DDP would hit a diving Splash on to all of the men on the outside of the ring and while the replay was being shown, MJF would roll up QT Marshall for the win.

WINNERS: Butcher & Blade & MJF

A drunk Page would run into SCU when trying to hype up the title match or next week but they would just end up getting infuriated until Kenny Omega came around to quell the tension.

Darby Allin vs. PAC

Both men traded high-octane offense and would trade near falls all throughout the match. PAC would pick up the win with The Black Arrow.

WINNER: PAC

After the match, PAC would cut a promo saying that he is going to skip the line and go straight to Jericho because Moxley is too injured. Moxley is shown inside of an ambulance and say that he’s going to kick PAC’s ass next week and go on to Jericho.
