This week on WWE Monday Night RAW, Randy Orton continued his rivalry with AJ Styles. Orton came to the ring and called himself this year’s favorite to win the WWE Royal Rumble match. Styles came to the ring when Orton called him out. The Phenomenal One talked up his own case for winning for the match. Drew McIntyre came to the ring and threw his name into the mix. McIntyre played matchmaker and arranged a triple threat match between the trio.

Orton thumbed McIntyre in the eye and tossed him out of the ring. Karl Anderson charged into the ring and Orton dropped him with an RKO while McIntyre hit Gallows with a Claymore Kick.

McIntyre suplexed Orton while he suplexed Styles. The Scottish Psychopath planted Styles with a Future Shock DDT. Orton countered a Claymore Kick with a dropkick. Styles hit a flying forearm on McIntyre. Orton blasted McIntyre with the steel steps. Styles dropped Orton with a spike DDT. He tried to hit an RKO after he mocked Orton’s signature taunt. Orton countered but he still got rocked by a Pele kick.

Orton hit a Styles Clash for a near fall. Styles countered an RKO into a rollup but Orton hit him with an RKO on a second attempt. McIntyre immediately blasted Orton with a Claymore Kick and pinned Styles for the win.
