Daniel Bryan Disappointed He Never Wrestled CM Punk At WrestleMania, Reveals If He’d Run As Kane’s VP

WWE star Daniel Bryan was recently interviewed on Cerrito Live to talk about several professional wrestling topics. During their conversation, Bryan was asked if he thinks CM Punk will return to the ring, and reveals if he’d ever consider running as his former tag team partner, Kane’s, Vice President in a race for the United States presidency.

Here are the highlights:

If he thinks CM Punk will return:

So, I will always say, because it’s always so enticing to come back, as much as you don’t want to, so I would hope yes. And also, in the back of my mind I’m always – even after I left I always had this thing where, it just seemed to me that there’s always been a WrestleMania match between CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.

But, now at this point, he may be passed that. And I know he’s not big on people putting his name out there and saying, ‘I want to do this,’ and that’s not where I’m coming from at all. But, just in the back of my head I was always disappointed we never got a CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan WrestleMania match.

If he’d run as Kane’s VP:

Yes, although it would be very interesting because our ideas on how things work are vastly different. So, yeah, I think it would very much confuse the country.
