205 Live Results (12/13/19): Joaquin Wilde Makes Debut

205 Live is back again this week, after taking a short break last week. Tonight’s episode was a big one, though, as it featured the debut of Joaquin Wilde, who wrestled for IMPACT Wrestling under the name DJZ prior to joining NXT. Tonight, though, is his debut on 205 Live, as he returns from an injury that kept him sidelined.

For the full results of Friday’s 205 Live, check out below:

Raul Mendoza defeats Ariya Daivari via pinfall.

Mendoza and Daivari continue to be some of the biggest superstars in the world of 205 Live, and they once again put on an incredible match. Things came to an end when Mendoza was able to land a big combination on Daivari, followed by a quick roll-up from behind to come away with the victory.

Joaquin Wilde defeats James Tapia via pinfall.

Wilde’s 205 Live debut went about as great as one could have hoped. Wilde took care of business early, landing a big powerbomb onto Tapia before landing a Wilde Thing for the victory. Needless to say, it was a huge night for Wilde, and he’ll hope to build off of this victory in the coming weeks.

Tony Nese defeats via Danny Burch via pinfall.

Tony Nese once again established why he’s one of the best in the business, taking down Danny Burch in the main event of 205 Live. Things ended for Burch when Nese was able to escape a crossface attempt and throw Burch into the turnbuckle. Following that, Nese landed a huge running knee for the cover, securing the victory.
