Adam Cole Retains NXT Championship Against Pete Dunne At WWE Survivor Series

At WWE Survivor Series, NXT Champion Adam Cole defended his title against Pete Dunne. The Bruiserweight earned a title shot by defeating Killian Dain and Damian Priest at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. Dunne took Cole to the limit but Cole retained the title after he hit the Lost Shot for the win.

Dunne controlled the match early on but Cole turned the tide in his favor. The challenger rocked Cole with a kick to the head and got a near fall after a powerbomb. A moonsault to the outside kept the momentum in Dunne’s corner. Cole blocked another moonsault and drilled Dunne with a running knee for a two count. The champion floored Dunne with a neckbreaker. Cole nailed Dunne with a superkick in mid-air for a near fall. A Panama Sunrise on the apron took both men down. Cole hit another Panama Sunrise and the last shot for the win.
