McKay and Riccaboni discuss ROH Honor United and the match between Flamita and “Speedball” Mike Bailey. A video package shows highlights of the bout. Flamita hits a back handspring elbow. Bailey rocks him with some kicks. He hits a spinning kick and Ultimate Weapon for a near fall. Flamita hits a C4 but Bailey turns into a pin attempt for a two count. A superkick rocks Bailey. Flamita earns the win with a 450 Splash.
Backstage, Joe Hendry says he won’t be an entertainer when he faces Shane Taylor. The ROH World Television Champion says he’ll knock Hendry out. Hendry shows his serious side but Taylor says he’ll prove why he’s the “baddest champion” ROH has ever seen.
ROH World Television Championship: Shane Taylor (c) vs. Joe Hendry (replayed from ROH Honor United)
(Dalton Castle is on commentary for this match.) The match is a stalemate early on. Hendry can’t take Taylor down with shoulder tackles and the champion drops him with one of his own. The challenger tries again and knocks Taylor to the outside. Taylor catches Hendry’s baseball slide dropkick and hits him with a stunner. A nasty chop rocks Hendry. A legdrop on the apron keeps the momentum in Taylor’s corner. Another shoulder tackle floors Castle. Taylor tosses Hendry into the barricade twice. The Prestigious One returns the favor and the impact sends a fan tumbling. Taylor gets a two count with a clubbing clothesline. Hendry suplexes Taylor but the champion rocks him with a forearm. A Codebreaker gets Hendry a near fall.
The competitors trade strikes but Taylor nails a stiff knee. A package piledriver gets him a near fall. A diving splash gets the champion another two count. Hendry slams Taylor for another two count. Hendry puts Taylor in the Hendry Lock but a headbutt and Welcome to the Land earn Taylor the win.
