Backstage, Sami Zayn tells Daniel Bryan the reason he lost to Adam Cole is because Bryan didn’t accept his offer a few weeks ago. Bryan needs to join Zayn. Zayn tells Bryan to go talk to Nakamura or Cesaro about what Zayn has done for their careers. Zayn invites Bryan to see what they can do.
Heavy Machinery get to the ring only to be attacked by NXT UK’s IMPERIUM. The New Day and various others hit the ring to chase WALTER and Co. off.
Backstage, Bayley and Sasha Banks say they are the ones who put NXT on the map. Shayna Baszler better be careful. Banks says she is going to beat Nikki Cross tonight.
Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro w/Sami Zayn vs. Ali and Shorty G
Daniel Bryan walks out on the stage to watch the match. As soon as the bell rings Cesaro obliterates shorty G with a roaring European uppercut. Nakamura tags in. Shorty G traps Nakamura in a rope hang armbar. Cesaro tags in and launches Shorty G into the corner. Shorty G manages to tag in Ali. Ali hits a rolling facebuster on Cesaro. Shorty G belly-to-belly suplexes Nakamura over the top rope. Cesaro blasts Shorty G with the Swiss Death Uppercut. Ali lands a suicide dive, wiping out Cesaro. Ali sends Cesaro back into the ring. Ali leaps off the top rope but Cesaro catches Ali in midair for a spinning backbreaker. Nakamura sets up the Kinshasa but Ali surprises Nakamura with a superkick. After a distraction by Cesaro and Zayn, Nakamura destroys Ali with the Kinshasa for the win.
