AEW Dynamite Viewership Falls Below A Million, NXT Goes Under 700,000

Both NXT and All Elite Wrestling had a lot of live competition (NBA regular season and the World Series began) on Wednesday night and viewership fell as a result.

AEW Dynamite pulled in 963,000 viewers on TNT per Showbuzz Daily, which is down from the  1.014 million they got last week. That’s a drop of over 50,000 viewers. Meanwhile, NXT pulled in 698,000 viewers during its two-hour run. That is down from the 712,000 last week. Once again AEW is still on top,

As far as rating demographics go, AEW placed fourth place for the night for viewers 18-49 (up from fifth place) and NXT came in at No. 21 (up from No. 30). NBA won the night on ESPN pulling in the top two spots and American Horror Story also beat AEW.
