MLW Women’s Division To Launch On November 9 At ‘Blood And Thunder’

MLW has confirmed they will officially launch their women’s division with the inaugural match at their Blood & Thunder event on November 9.

According to a new press release, Zeda Zhang will “break new ground in Major League Wrestling” as she is the first women’s competitor announced for the event at GILT Nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

Zhang originally competed in MLW in 2018, the gifted Chinese American fighter will now usher in a new era in MLW. Since then, Zhang has trained in MMA and competed in China and throughout Asia; her opponent has not been revealed at the time of publication. According to MLW, league officials are “in talks with an undisclosed female fighter to step into the MLW ring” and more details are expected in the coming days.
