WWE NXT Results (10/16/19)

Keith Lee vs. Dominik Dijakovic

The match started off with dueling shoulder blocks and more traditional big man antics but would not stay that way. Keith Lee would work on Dijakovic’s arm
Lee would get on the second rope and nails a big Frogsplash on the injured arm. A Spirit Bomb would send Dominik rolling to the floor. Back in the ring, a Cyclone Kick would floor Lee but only for two.
Later on in the match, Dijakovic would attempt a move from the electric chair position and get hit with a reverse rana because of course. NXT. The match would reach its abrupt conclusion when Roderick Strong would come in and attack both men only for William regal to tell him that he would now be defending his championship in a triple threat next week.

Matt Riddle vs. Bronson Reed:

Riddle hits an exploder after it some aggressive offense. A kick to the face only gets a two count for Riddle. Riddle would hit the Bro 2 Sleep, a Powerbomb and a knee but wouldn’t be able to put away the massive Bronson until he hit Bro Derek.

Tegan Nox vs. Taynara

Nox starts with a nice dropkick for a 2 count. Taynara ends up going behind and connecting with a big kick to send Nox out of the ring. Back in the ring, Nox looks to mount offense but Taynara cuts her off. Nox with a chokeslam & gets called “lady Kane.” and hits a crossbody + Nox follows up with the Shiniest Wizard for the win.

WINNER: Tegan Nox

After the match, The Four Horsewomen would appear and intimidate Nox and Dakota Kai who had come out to support her friend.Nox Would also declare her intentions to chase Shayna Baszler.

Killian Dain vs. Boa

Boa stuns Dain with some surprising offense but Dain would power through with a crossbody block. It would then be a straight power game from the Irish beast who would finish off Boa with three Vader bombs.

WINNER: Killian Dain

Pete Dunne vs Damien Priest

Before the bell, Killian Dain approaches Dunne and they have words as a referee gets in between them. Dunne reaches out and snaps Dain’s fingers.

A back and forth bout took NXT into the overrun. Pete Dunne hit a flying Armbar. Dunne hit a triangle. Priest hits an enzugiri. Late in the night, Dunne went a moonsault but Priest gets his knees up. Priest hits a low blow kick on Dunne. Priest hits The Reckoning for the win.

WINNER: Damien Priest
