As promised, we saw an AEW Women’s Championship match between Britt Baker and Riho.

The match was an even affair early on as Riho used her technical advantage to combat Baker’s natural size advantage. The Japanese wrestler went to the air and used her dives to get a near pinfall. Baker earned a near pinfall of her own, but Riho kicked out and managed to land a devastating stomp off the top rope.

The end finally came after Baker put Riho in the lockjaw, but Riho was able to reverse the position and keep Baker’s shoulders down for the three count.
