Bully Ray Praises Viking Raiders, Say They’ve Earned Titles

The Viking Raiders captured the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships on Monday Night RAW, and as the fans cheered them on, the duo took their place as one of the top teams in all of wrestling. On SiriusXM’s Busted Open radio, Bully Ray and David LaGreca discussed the win, and praised The Viking Raiders as a group who deserved their success.

“I can’t speak highly enough about The War Machine. I know they’re The Viking Raiders, I get it, but this is The War Machine to me,” Bully Ray said. “Good, good guys, good brothers, as we say in the wrestling business. Guys that you want to work with, guys that are very versatile. As you saw last night, 300-pounders who can fly around and can also beat the piss out of you, I’m very happy to see these guys achieve the level of success that they achieved last night in the WWE.”

Bully Ray went on to say that while no one knows exactly how long their success will last, he did see a great match between Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler, and that The Viking Raiders earned their victory. “Really happy for these guys, they deserved it because they earned it.” Ray then commented on how the entire crowd at Monday Night RAW was behind The Viking Raiders, and that comes from the duo being so deserving.

“And the pop was because the people ere happy to see The Viking Raiders win, and we don’t get that a lot. A lot of times we see a pop because they want to see people lose, and that’s actually a testament to a good heel. Last night, we got the exact opposite, we got emotional investment from the fans, and they were tied to The Viking Raiders.”
